Software Features of our Web Filter Solution
The PowerElf server appliance has a built-in content filter solution to block unwanted web sites. The content filtering solution is a zero-administration solution; the blacklists are updated automatically and filters the following categories:
- Aggressive, Hate-sites;
- Drugs, Alchohol;
- Gambling, Online games;
- Spyware, Hacking, Phishing;
- Pornography, Adult material, Nudity;
- Violence;
- Warez (Illegal software);
- Anonymous proxy, socks lists;
- Trusted (Administrator-defined acceptable web sites);
- Untrusted (Administrator-defined unacceptable web sites).
Monitor each computer or user separately
The PowerElf will create daily and weekly web traffic reports for the administrator. Reports are sorted by IP or by User name. A list of top-visited sites is also available. The administrator can use this information to monitor where users are going and how much time they are spending there.

Ability to block all web sites
This feature is useful if you do not want Internet access to be granted to users on the network. The administrator can choose a list of "approved" sites that users can visit.
Create an allowable sites list
An allowable sites list can be created in which only the sites on the list will be permitted and all other Internet sites will be blocked.
Control access by username or IP
The administrator can control which computers or users have no access, filtered access or full access. All administration is handled through the web manager interface.
Create list of good and bad sites
Create customized lists that will overrule the PowerElf's blacklist. All sites that the admin creates in the good list will always be allowed and all site the admin creates in the bad list will always be denied.
Enable and disable rules
Customize your list of allowable content and blocked content via the easy-to-use GUI interface.
Receive daily traffic summaries reports by email.
The administrator can receive a daily report summarizing the bandwidth usage for http traffic. 
Receive optional web traffic summaries each day via e-mail.
The content filter can be easily utilized by the administrator whether the PowerElf appliance is acting as your firewall or not.
